1、 Amount of wallpaper or wall cloth

After the pattern and variety of wallpaper or wall cloth are determined, the amount of materials used can be reasonably calculated according to the size of the living room. Considering the possible loss during construction, it can be purchased by about 10% more than the actual consumption. There are two methods for calculating wallpaper or wall cloth. One is rough calculation, that is, multiplying the area of the room by 2.5, which is the number of materials for wall pasting; Another method is field measurement, which is more accurate. First understand the width of the required wallpaper or wall cloth, and measure the perimeter of the room wall (excluding doors, windows, etc.) according to this width. If there are several wallpaper or wall cloth widths in the perimeter, i.e. several pieces need to be pasted, then measure the length (m) of the wallpaper or wall cloth, and finally measure the length of the materials required for the wall under the window, irregular corners, etc. with this method, and add it to the calculated length, which is the total length.

2、 Coating dosage

With the improvement of housing conditions, many families brush a layer of colored paint on the white wall. Before painting, the required paint shall be estimated well, otherwise, more will cause waste, less will not be enough, and the color will be difficult to be consistent if water is added. A simple calculation method is introduced here: the room area is divided by 4, the height of the white wall to be painted is multiplied by 10 divided by 4, and the sum of the two is the kg of paint required. For example, a room with an area of 20 square meters and a wall height of 1.6 meters (excluding the 1.2-meter wall skirt) is 20 ÷ 4 + 16 ÷ 4 = 9, that is, 9 kg of paint can be painted twice.

3、 Floor tile consumption

Floor tile size (if 30.5 cm) × 0.5cm, i.e. about 12 floor tiles are required for each 1 square meter of floor, and then multiplied by the square of the room, i.e. the number of materials used. Since the edge of the ground often needs to be spliced with the floor tiles with cut edges, it is best to draw a sketch according to the floor size of the room first. While selecting the pattern, determine how many dark and light color floor tiles are used, and accurately calculate how many non whole floor tiles are used. There are many kinds of adhesives used for floor tiles. At present, 401 adhesive and 4116 adhesive are common in the market. Generally, 4-6 square meters of floor tiles can be pasted per kilogram. If the amount is too much, the glue is easy to squeeze out from the gaps of the floor tiles and pollute the ground, which is difficult to clean; If too little glue is used, the floor tiles will peel off after drying.
